Burundi Post

- Burundi, Republic of Burundi, country enclosed by central Africa, situated in the region of Great Lakes. Burundi shares its borders with Rwanda in the North, Tanzania in the East and in the South, and the democratic Republic of Congo on the West, the lake Tanganyika and Ruzizi serving of natural boundary with this country. Covering 27 834 km2, Burundi, former Urundi, is one of the smallest countries of the African continent. The capital is Bujumbura. The democratization of the regime, since 1992 , came along with a violent resumption of the conflict among Tutsis and Hutus. Massacres between these communities marked the history of the country since its independence.
