- Republic of Venezuela, country of South America, lined in the North by the Caribbean Sea, in the northeast by the Atlantic Ocean, in the East by Guyana, in the South by Brazil, and in the southwest and on the West by Colombia. The coast of Venezuela is long and very cut: it includes notably the bay of Venezuela and the bay of Pariah.
