- Koweït (État), pays de la péninsule Arabique, situé dans le golfe Arabo-Persique, dont les pays voisins sont, au nord et à l'ouest, l'Irak et, au sud, l'Arabie Saoudite. Le pays couvre une superficie totale de 17 818 km2, incluant un territoire neutre de 5 500 km2, administré conjointement par l'émirat et son puissant voisin saoudien, ainsi que les îles de Bubiyan, Warba et de Faylaka. La capitale du pays est la ville de Koweït.
