- The Scotland, left northerly of United Kingdom which occupies the third of the island of Great Britain. The Scotland is lined in the North by the Atlantic Ocean, in the East by the North Sea, in the southeast by England, in the southwest and on the West by canal of the North and by the Atlantic Ocean. The territory of the Scotland, with the three archipelagoes of Hebrides, Orcades and some Shetland wool, covers 78 770 km2. Edinburgh is the capital and Glasgow main economic pole.
