- Occidental Samoa, officially State independent from Occidentals Samoa, country situated in Polynesia and being a part of the archipelago of Samoa, in the Pacific Ocean, on the West of Americains'Samoa. The archipelago consists of two big islands, Savai i and Upolu, and seven smaller islands, among which two only, Apolima and Manon, are lived. The capital and the main port(bearing) is Apia, situated on Upolu. The total surface of Occidental Samoa is of 2 830 km2. Samoa, archipelago of the centre of the Pacific Ocean. Island vegetation is luxuriant, but extremely reduced fauna. The only specific animals are snakes, lizards and numerous birds. Among these last ones, the most remarkable is the pigeon "! In the toothed beak! ", Didunculus strigirostis, with whom the beak, similar to that of the owl, is provided with three "! Teeth! " Which(who) go out of the lower mandible. Samoa appealed formerly "!
